Foster Care Awareness Week 1-7 March

Thousands of people across New Zealand provide safe, loving homes for tamariki, and the message we’re sharing with our caregivers this week is “your aroha makes all the difference.”

During the week there are events happening across the country for caregivers - from morning teas and pizza nights, through to BBQs on the beach. 

At the end of this week, the recipients of this years’ Excellence in Foster Care Awards will be recognised at a special ceremony at Government House in Wellington. You’ll see some of their stories shared in the media and we'll share the Awards story here on our website.
